These terms and conditions (“terms”) apply to your use of Human Benchmark Tests at humanbenchmarktests.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who can use the site

The site is free and open to everyone. You do not need an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the site with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Use of the site

You may use the tests and tools for personal, educational and non commercial purposes. You are welcome to:

  • Take any test as often as you like and share your scores
  • Link to any page on the site from your own website, social media or messages
  • Use the tests in a classroom, a team event or a stream, as long as the site is shown as it is and credited

You agree not to:

  • Copy the site’s text, code, design or tests in bulk, or republish them as your own
  • Try to disrupt the site, its servers or its security, or get around any limits on access
  • Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to load pages at a rate that affects other visitors
  • Use automated input, macros or scripts to fake test results and present them as genuine human scores
  • Use the site for anything that is unlawful, harmful or misleading

Scores are for entertainment and self tracking

The tests, scores and score guides are provided for general interest, entertainment and personal tracking. They are not medical, psychological, educational or professional assessments. They must not be used to diagnose any condition or to make decisions about health, driving, employment, education or similar matters. If you have concerns about your memory, attention, vision or reflexes, consult a qualified professional.

Accuracy of results and content

Timing results depend on your device, display, browser, input method and connection, and may differ from results measured on other sites or in a laboratory. Score guides are approximate and based on typical published results.

We work to keep the tests and articles accurate and up to date, but we make no promise that they are complete, error free or suitable for any particular purpose. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the contact page.

Your scores and data

Your scores are stored only in your own browser. We do not have a copy, so we cannot recover them if they are deleted, if you clear your browser data or if you change device. How we and our partners handle information is explained in the privacy policy.

Advertising

The site is supported by advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and we do not control or endorse the products or services they promote. Any dealings you have with advertisers are between you and the advertiser. Please do not click ads on purpose to generate revenue for the site, as this breaks advertising programme rules.

Intellectual property

The site’s text, design, code, graphics and the way the tests are presented belong to Human Benchmark Tests or are used with permission. You may quote short passages with a link back to the original page. Names of other products, companies and websites mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.

Articles may link to other websites, such as research papers and tools. These links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of other websites.

Availability and changes

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. Tests, tools and pages may be changed, added or removed at any time, and the site may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may also update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Human Benchmark Tests disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the site, your reliance on its content or scores, or any period when the site is unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Independence

Human Benchmark Tests is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to humanbenchmark.com or any other testing service mentioned on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator of the site is based, without regard to conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
