Fortnite Aim Trainer

An independent flick warm-up for Fortnite players that runs on any device with a browser.

Hit 30 targets as fast as you can.

A target appears somewhere on the board. Click or tap it and the next one shows up right away.

An independent warm-up for Fortnite players

This is an independent browser tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fortnite or its publisher, and it contains nothing from the game. You get a flat 2D board. Press Start test, hit 30 round targets one after another, and the run ends in about 20 seconds with your average time per target, missed clicks and accuracy percent.

Quick flicks between targets

Fortnite mixes building with aiming. Your crosshair rarely rests in one place. You finish a build, then have to snap onto an opponent who is somewhere else on the screen.

The drill is that snap, repeated. Each target appears at a random position, so you never know the distance or direction in advance. The next one appears the moment you hit the current one, which leaves no time to settle. That makes it good practice for moving quickly from one point to another and stopping cleanly.

Work on it in this order:

  • Clean first. One run where every click lands, at whatever pace that takes.
  • Then fast. Push the pace while keeping accuracy above 90 percent.
  • Then far. Use a full-width window so the flicks are long, as they are when a target is at the edge of your screen.

Works on any device with a browser

There is nothing to install and no account. The page runs on a desktop, a laptop, a Chromebook, a tablet or a phone, with a mouse, a trackpad or touch.

Use the device you play on if you can. Scores do not compare across input types. Trackpads are much slower on this test, and touch scores are not comparable with mouse scores because your finger goes straight to the target. With a mouse, 500 to 619 ms per target is average.

What this page does not train

Be realistic about a 2D board. It has no building, no moving targets, no recoil and no way to match your in-game sensitivity. Tracking a moving player, aiming while you build and choosing when to fight all have to be learned in the game.

Keep track

Your runs are saved in the browser and shown in the Your scores panel with a trend line. For more warm-up drills, see aim practice. For a plan that goes past a warm-up, see aim training. The FPS aim trainer page covers what carries over to shooters in general.

Fortnite Aim Trainer FAQ

Is this an official Fortnite aim trainer?

No. It is an independent browser tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fortnite or its publisher.

Can I use it on a phone, tablet or Chromebook?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser, and the targets respond to taps as well as clicks. Touch and trackpad scores are not comparable with mouse scores, so track each device separately.

Does it help if I play Fortnite with a controller?

Not directly. The drill works with a mouse, trackpad or touch, so it does not train stick aim. Controller players need to practice in the game.
