What unblocked means here
People search for an unblocked spacebar counter when they are on a computer where they cannot install anything, such as a school laptop or a work machine. This counter runs entirely in the web page. It loads in any modern browser with no download, no app and no plugin.
That said, we cannot promise that every network allows it. Schools and workplaces choose which sites their networks permit, and this page has no way of changing that. If the site does not load on your network, follow your school or workplace rules. If you think it should be available, ask whoever manages the network.
How the counter works
Press Space to start. The 10 second timer begins with your first press, and the display shows the time left, your presses and your presses per second as you go. Only the Space bar counts, and holding it down counts once, since auto-repeat is ignored. At the end you see your presses per second to one decimal, a rating, your total and your personal best. A total of 64 presses, for example, gives 6.4 per second.
Where your scores are kept
Your scores are saved in the browser you are using, and the Your scores panel shows your best, average, attempts and a trend chart for this mode.
That matters on shared machines. If the browser clears its data when you sign out, or you move to a different computer, your history will not come with you. Treat each session on a shared computer as a fresh start, and write down your best score if you want to keep it.
Using it on a shared computer
- Only use it when your school or workplace rules allow it.
- Fast tapping on a space bar can be noisy, so think about where you are.
- Use the same keyboard for each run if you want results you can compare.
- Stop if your hand or wrist aches.
The spacebar counter page explains the live numbers in more detail, and the keyboard CPS test lets you alternate letter, number and Space keys instead of pressing Space alone. Both run in the browser in the same way.
